Recycled glass is used to make this lantern. Firstly, the waste glass is collected and washed to remove any impurities. It is then crushed and melted down before being hand-blown into a mould to create the beautiful shape. The base is crafted from mango wood, which is typically a by-product of mango farming. It has natural variations of the grain that shine through in the finished pieces. The dark stain offers an alternative to the natural mango wood finish.
To care for your lantern, it is recommended that you regularly wipe with a soft, dry cloth to prevent the build up of dust or dirt; using a microfibre cloth in the circular motion for the glass. To remove excess wax, use warm water with a mild dish soap, be sure to dry immediately and do not soak. Indoor use only. Please position the candle securely and ensure that the flame is not directed at the glass. This product will get hot in use. Keep out of reach of children. Wait until fully cooled before handling. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
